Peoria, AZ - Rockin R Meetings & Events, LLC a local event planning company partnered together with the Rockin Red Hatters of Arizona, Red Hot Mommas of Arizona, American Wholesale Thermographers, Maximize Your Publicity, and A Delightful Greeting to collect school supply donations for the West Valley Child Crisis Center in Glendale.

The West Valley Child Crisis Center provides temporary shelter and supervision for children who are victims of, or at risk of, abuse, neglect or abandonment, in a safe, nurturing, home-like environment staffed by quality care providers to interact with the community to increase awareness of, and work to prevent, the cycle of child abuse. Through the year the center helps 300-400 children.

Their goal is to provide a safe place where children are comfortable and loved, and given a chance to heal before being placed in a foster home, restored with their parents(s), or with a relative that the State deems able to provide decent care.

"I wanted to help make a difference in my community which would touch the lives of children. It is unimaginable how many children are abused and neglected. The children need supplies as they start school and we wanted to provide them at least something that would give them a smile on their face and new supplies to help them learn." says Rochell Planty, CMP, Owner of Rockin R Meetings & Events, LLC.
